Fire Performance Policy

Designated fire performance areas will be established by the fire safety department prior to the event and will be clearly marked on the city map. Fire performance outside of designated areas is a serious public safety hazard, absolutely prohibited, and may result in your expulsion from the event.  

In designated fire performance areas signage will clearly indicate locations for fuel storage, spin off, and fire spinning. If weather conditions are deemed unsafe, areas will have signs declaring that no fire is allowed at that time. Fire safety staff on duty will monitor areas to ensure accountability.  All performers must adhere to any instructions provided by fire safety staff and failure to do so will result in you (and your team if applicable) being denied the opportunity to perform.

Safety Headquarters will have maps and handouts with fire performance safety information.
