In addition to your General Admissions Ticket, all vehicles at YOUtopia, with the exception of motorcycles, must have a parking pass. 
If you’re planning on volunteering at YOUtopia this year, please do not buy a ticket! YOUtopia appreciates its volunteers and provides a discount admission ticket for those who dedicate their time.

Ticket Aid Program

We are pleased to announce the return of our Ticket Aid Program for YOUtopia 2025. A block of reduced-price tickets is earmarked for Participants on a limited income who may not otherwise be able to afford our regularly priced tickets. 

Volunteer Ticket

In addition to our Ticket Aid Program, we offer any Participant who commits to 12 hours of volunteerism a discounted Volunteer Ticket. Volunteering is a fun, rewarding way to experience our temporary city of wonders. Learn more about how different parts of YOUtopia function and intertwine, spark new friendships, and leave your own indelible imprint on the 2025 event!

Reselling Tickets

Make sure to access your Eventbrite account through your system browser. This option doesn’t exist on their app, unfortunately.

  1. Log in to your Eventbrite account with the email address and password you used at the time you registered. (If you forgot your password – just select Forgot your password.)
  2. Click on your Profile at the TOP RIGHT of the screen, and use the dropdown menu to select Tickets. Select Upcoming Events and then your YOUtopia order. This brings up your tickets so you can view or print them.
  3. To change the name on a ticket in your order (Transfer), select EDIT. Change the name AND email on the ticket being edited to match the new participant and then SAVE the changes at the BOTTOM of the page! SCROLL ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM TO SAVE!

PLEASE NOTE: Only the person who originally purchased the ticket from Eventbrite can edit the ticket information.

Send an email to tickets@sdyoutopia.com and include the following information:

  • Full legal name of seller
  • Full legal name of buyer
  • Email addresses of seller and buyer
  • Order number

If you are having issues with the process of editing ticket information, ask yourself the following questions before contacting Eventbrite or YOUtopia:

  1. Did I change the name AND email address to match the new participant’s information?
  2. Did I scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click SAVE after inputting the new participant’s info?
  3. Am I the original purchaser of this ticket from the Eventbrite site?

If you answered NO to Questions 1 and/or 2, please take the appropriate actions that will allow you to answer YES!

If you answered NO to Question 3, contact the original purchaser of the ticket and ask them to edit the information on the order. If you don’t know who that person is, send an email to tickets@sdyoutopia.com that includes the names and email addresses of the buyer and seller as well as the order number and we will try to help you out.
